Thanks for the heads-up .....
A good time to ask - how does this type of scam work ?
I ask cos if I'd had interest in the eBay auction, I would have done my basic checking .... 85 feedbacks .... no negatives ... a ten year history ..... and concluded .... Yip, the seller must be ok. I would even have accepted the fact that the seller has 85 feed-backs as a buyer and zero as a seller . My own history with eBay is even more one sided than that . It's 160 buyer feed-backs and zero sales feed-backs for me, and I'm a good guy Is this an example of a bad person chipping away on eBay for years making pocket-money purchases before they swoop with one big scam ? Or are the scammers now hijacking the accounts of long-established eBay traders ? |
