New Old Stock 5980 Stainless Availability?
I understand that this model was discontinued quite a bit ago, but curious if there is belief on probability (or actuality!) that there may be some NOS blue or black a AD has tucked away?
Saw recently another member score a white stainless 5980 from AD - Wishful thinking this may apply to stainless blue or black as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Visited Patek AD in San Francisco and spotted one white 5980 months ago. Could be the same piece someone here also encountered not long ago. For black dial, i think it's pretty much hopeless. Well, a friend of mine scored a brand new 5070j from an AD and it actually belonged to the owner of that AD. Sold at premium but you get recent dated on paper.

Thanks for the responses!
I ended up picking up a used blue 5980 from an AD out in Dallas. Glad to hear though that there are still white ones floating around! |
