Seamaster Commander vs Seamaster diver 300m

Looking to purchase my first omega watch and I am leaning towards the traditional Seamaster 300 41m coaxial with blue face and bezel. As I was searching I came across the Limited Edition 007 Commanders version. Has anyone purchased this version? Is it work the extra money?

Any thoughts and advice is appreciated.

Thank!

I would buy what you like and will wear. Many folks seem not to like the commander’s model, though not so much due to the actual appearance but rather the gimmicky nature of it.

Like Chester01 said, I think the Commander watch is too "gimmicky". I would get the blue diver.

Really depends if you want the white dial or blue dial and if white + the NATO is worth the extra premium to you.

I recently got a blue 300m ceramic and love it. I would go that route.

The 300 is nicer for daily wear.

But if you can find a commander, snap it up. Most are gone.

My suggestion is to hold off until the new wave dialed Seamasters are out then make your call.

Ok, I would like to update my comment above.

I have looked at the Commander watch again. I think what I didn't like about it was the Nato strap. If you put a solid color nato on it (blue or gray) I think it would look awesome.
