Good morning,

I’ve perused the forums for quite some time and finally decided to become a member. Work has me traveling quite a bit and it is always interesting to see the many different styles of watches that people wear around the world.

I enjoy watches for what I believe them to be, timepieces and mechanical instruments. In my humble opinion a watch isn’t truly yours until you get the first scratch on it. To me, each scratch and ding tells a story of both the watch and you. At least this is how I justify my somewhat careless wearing of watches.

On this forum I have enjoyed reading the stories of people finally getting their grail watch and stories of the watch’s themselves.

I’m looking forward to learning much from the members here and enjoying the sense of community that seems to be fostered here. Thank you.
