Hello from a sunny Kuwait
Hi, all, thought I'd drop in and say hello. The name is Craig I'm a British guy living in Kuwait in The Middle East.
My Rolex's are as follows: SUBMARINER - 18K Yellow Gold / Stainless Steel, Serti, with factory fitted Diamonds & Sapphires 16613. GMT MASTER II - Stainless Steel (Jubilee Bracelet), Black and Red Bezel 16710. I'm planning to expand my Rolex connection, probably with a second hand Sea Dweller followed by the Daytona, Stainless Steel, White dial. They have one in my local jewelers but I'm reluctant to pay the $10,000 asking price! With Kuwait being tax free I'm hoping to buy in EU and the claim the VAT / Sales TAX back. Looking forward very much to being an active member in this forum. Speak soon, regards, Craig |

Hi Craig
Welcome, it is a pleasure to have you here A tax free abode, you've gotta love that Seems like you have a couple of excellent watches already. $10,000 seems to be a common asking price for a Daytona these days, although I believe the recommended retail from Rolex is around $8,000 in the USA. Don't forget the new release stainless steel GMT-II that is a beauty too.....:) |

Hi, Craig!
I really LIKE your taste in watches! The TT Sub "Serti" is georgeous, and the "Pepsi" GMT..........well what can I say? ...........KEEP it, keep it! About the SS Daytona. Well, actually I would consider going for it, since there most likely will be a price increase in September or October. So I'd buy it NOW if I were you and skip the 5-year waiting list. After all, with a price increase it just might be 10,000 next time! Just my 2 cents.
