I'm New Too
....yep... I've been browsing the pages for about a month now (I think!) and I'm getting very close to buying my Rolex.
 I think I've got the basics down, based on the helpful information in this forum... but the temptation to purchase via grey market is always with me. I like the idea of browsing and asking questions on my own... Whereas going to an AD locally is all about pressure sales (I live in NYC).  I'd LOVE to purchase from a TRF member, but I see a seller who doesn't have feedback yet... so I err to the side of caution.  Plus, I'm not able to post on the "Wanting to Buy" section yet... I guess I haven't earned that right yet.  If anyone has any advice to give me, I'm listening!

Hello from NYC!
I'm new here too, and have been checking out the pages for awhile... trying to educate myself before the big purchase of my Rolex.
I appreciate all of the help and the friendly community. Hope to have something to add to the forums other than a newbie or "help me" post soon.

I just went into a Tourneau this morning... just to "try on" a watch.... Still looking.... Looking.... I wish I could rush into this... I feel like I've been browsing for a Rolex for years. It took a divorce, selling my house and moving to NYC to finally make the jump to purchase a Rolex.... and I'm still hesitant. However, this is a TERRIFIC forum that I am so glad I found!
