Oh - sorry, I didn't say what kind of watch I was searching for, since there were a few options on the table!

I would love a new Datejust Lady - Steel and Gold Yellow Gold, smooth bezel - Jubilee or Oyster bracelet with a Roman, dark MOP dial - model 69163.... but this is a bit out of my "want to spend" right now.

So I'm also in the market for a pre-owned Oyster Perpetual no-date, champagne dial with stick markers... My local AD has a perfect one, but I know that they are asking too much for a 1986 model (#6719)!

I'm cautious about the Internet, but have been to DeMesy, Alan Furman, Portero Luxury, SwissLuxury.com and BernardWatch.com.... I have also reached out to some TERRIFIC people here on TRF (Thanks DAVIDSW and LawrenceB!!!) - but still, nothing has come up yet....

Thoughts? Suggestions? Sympathy cards?

I think either of the two would be great watches. The TT Dj is and always be a classic and one member here got a stainless watch last year, I can't remember the model from one of the sellers here, that had a pink/salmon color dial. That too is a great looking watch, perhaps you could say a more "updated" Rolex look. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to TRF! Part of the fun is deciding which one you want to buy (the FIRST Rolex, anyway!).
