Love this, hobnail dial, and no 15, 30, 45 markers. I just hope they didn't increase the size. Any info on that? This really works for me. One of the few ROO I like. Judging from the pic anyway. Thanks for sharing Oh, btw, AP will discontinue the 15300 and 15202 then? Strange move since they release a ROO every week. One would think they could co-exist. |

15202 will stay at 39mm.
15400 will come at 37mm and 41mm, 15300 continue for a while and then be phased out. |

Sales strategy to sell more Jumbos? Perhaps the 15300 cannibalized too much on 15202 sales and therefore they add something slightly smaller/bigger?

The new AP diver seems to have the bumblebee's DNA all over it, from a personal point of view I have owned AP's with the steel, rubber, carbon and ceramic bezels, for me I would only buy a new AP with a ceramic bezel on it. I know if hit hard enough the bezel will chip as I have done this in the past but you do not get the swirl marks that you do on the ss ones or the cracking you get on the corners with carbon. As sad as it seems but a marked bezel to me is a no go and the watch has to be traded.

Thanks for sharing! With the higher msrp for the carbon diver, it seems to make the 4101 a great deal, if you like that style.

click here for a nice review and tons of pix of the 15400.
in terms of pricing, according to the post: "Prices for the Royal Oak Selfwinding are $16,900 in steel, $33,800 in 18k rose gold on a strap, and $64,800 in rose gold on a bracelet. The Chronograph is $23,900 in steel, $45,500 in 18l rose gold on a strap, and $70,800 in rose gold on a bracelet." |

Will the current 26300 royal oak chronographs be available for a while also? Just curious as I prefer the 39mm case and would like to acquire one this year!

am i the only one that thinks the SS diver would look great with a ceramic bezel? then you dont have to worry about a carbon case or the SS bezel scratching. tell me im crazy i guess.
