How accurate are the day date models?

Hi.
To everyone that has owned or owns a Seiko day date model, how accurate are they? I'm looking to get one but accurate time keeping is important for me. And am I right in saying that regardless of model the movement is the same in all of them?

Which model in particular do you refer to?

Around +8 seconds a year for my Grand Seiko 9F quartz and about that much per day for my Turtle. There's a ton of Seikos with the DD function, and many movements.

I've got a vintage 6156 that runs pretty well. Granted it is a hi beat movement.

My SNK807 gains about 10 seconds a day, and no the movement is not the same in all of them.

For example, the SNK807 is powered by the 7s26, and the new release Seiko Turtle by the 4r36.

My 4r36 turtle runs about -5 a day. I just set it 15 min fast and I can wear it for a week and it is about -15, pretty good for a few hundred dollar mechanical watch.
