Somehow Amazon has it in stock for anyone interested.

No idea what is happening, but it's Amazon so should be pretty safe.

Edit - Sorry guys. It was being sold by Amazon for $356 with the Seiko 3 year warranty, but was gone in about 10 minutes. Now it's some 3rd party seller for much higher.

Great watch ,& I'm sure your dad will be very happy with it . I think it's a very under appreciated watch in my humble opinion & the green sunburst dial is superb , but the OEM strap isn't the best though.

Agreed. My SARB017 is currently my only watch; been rocking it for six months now. Very underrated.
