Vintage Tudors
Hi guys. Looking for some advice.
I have a 116710 and a 114300 and several vintage Omegas. I’m thinking about maybe adding a vintage Tudor (oyster date maybe?) to my collection. What should I be looking for? What models do you recommend? In particular, I’m looking for something that will hold value nicely and that isn’t too small. |

Beautiful but I’m thinking that’ll be more than I’d want to spend. What’s the approx market value? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Date Day 38mm are nice. 7020 is a TOG bezel and the 7017 has a smooth bezel.

First, I think you need to decide on what size you are looking for.

I’d recommend the Tudor Jumbo (ref 7024) very well sized at 38mm. I’ve wondered why rolex doesn’t release a 38mm datejust
Here’s a size comparison of Tudor cases 34mm - 38mm - 41mm And here’s another size comparison with some of our other watches 31mm - 34mm - 36mm - 38mm - 40mm |

I would pick another brand as you are a little late on jumping in on vintage Tudors. There are many out there but the prices are reflective of the markets awareness of the brand. I think that vintage Omega's are where there is a real opportunity to find some cool pieces at reasonable prices. This excludes historically significant Speed Masters. You might look at some of the late 80's-90's Sea Masters as they can be had for a nice price. Another brand that is forgotten in the vintage market is Hamilton. They are cool watches and sell for a fraction of what the Tudors will and they have some cool designs. Good luck.

I would strongly suggest those vintage Tudor from 50s or 60s with small rose. They are my favorite! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tudors are the best!
Personally recommend a tudor sub (Snowflake, 79090, 7016, 7928) Tons of charm! |

Tudor sub
IMG_6Jul2019at42743pm.jpg you can’t go wrong with a Tudor sub obviously if money was no object you would probably like that dial to read Rolex but you get that same look for a fraction of the price plus as long as you love what you buy if it goes up in value even better.

My wife has a "Chrono-Time" from about 1977. I have seen the men's version in both blue and burgundy and they are beautiful. I love the unique integrated bracelet.

Some really nice Tudor pics on here, I would look into a nice Blue 79090/79190 if it were me.

Nice looking Tudor you have there. Have to agree that the integrated bracelet on the Tudor is unique and very nice to wear. The integrated bracelet on my Ranger II. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
