Anyone owning 58 can tell me how is the bezel works? Is it smooth like rolex or no?

I don't own one yet, but when I tried it on at my AD it felt solid and very smooth.

Anyone that owns one on bracelet, have they tried to take the bracelet of yet? On the old Blackbays, the tolerance on the spring bars was something else indeed. Could never do it. Never had an issue with the Rolex ones.

Changed my bracelet on my B.B. no problem at all.

Are you sure it wasn’t just a bit dirty with oil/dust ?

Not really, I found it was just really tough and frustrating. It was the same with my pelagos, very difficult to do!

Fair enough, hopefully you can get it sorted. I can’t remember the tool I use but I have different heads. But the tweezer type look the best but are fairly expensive.

ugh.

This is going to be tough.

I really like the matte and maxi compared to my 14060M, but really wish the bracelet didn't have the rivets.

It wouldn't be quite so bad if they were real rivets....

The lugs really put the modern Rolex ones to shame, though, making them look (ironically) like Rolex have cut corners.

Someone in Texas on the Tudor Facebook group just received his 58. I’m pumped it may be sooner than I expected!

I fell in love with the 58 the second I saw it. Now, it looks even better than I expected with the side-by-side comparison. I sold a 14060M a couple of months ago.

You really don't notice the rivets. You do notice the link cappings though, which I like. Gives the bracelet greater character of depth.

Yes. Much better than a maxi case Submariner. But then, lots of people like The maxi case.

I like what is true to brand history. And this 58 is truer to brand history than any watch released by the Rolex family in the last decade.

Tudor is Rolex before the ceramic wave, when it was all about tool watches for professionals. Truly unnerving that Rolex is now primarily shiny man-jewelry with its little brother taking up the helm!

I'm not a huge gilt fan, so I'm trying not to ride the wave and buy this one.

I'm hoping for a classic color scheme or if I could have ANY watch - it would be a 39.5/40mm pelagos thats 12mm thick - that my friends would be the watch I want.

58 or GMT, what do you guys prefer?

I still need to try on both. GMT still looks too thick (for me) but it's so good looking.

58 for me.

1 because of size
2 because seem that gmts have issues with date change and 58 time only watch so should be less problems

I thought I wanted the 58 having owned the original BBB. But when I saw in the flesh and handled I was surprised how different it feels and looks.

Smashing hot!

What would you say the main difference is between the original BBB and the BB58, in terms of how it wears?

I flipped the ETA because of the bulk of the watch. Just too much. Dial was beautiful but not enough to carry the rest. The new 58 doesn't carry the massive block and sides. Very noticeable and lighter in heft. Design is still big. I have an Explorer at 39 and the 58 feels and looks bigger. The movement is also outstanding.

The most endearing picture I've seen of the BB58 and I've been stalking this piece... are you using a filter here?
