ODD Request :: Iron recommendations?

So I am sitting here on the train and just remembered that I broke my iron this morning before leaving the house. You are probably wondering how I broke it - well to simply put it, I dropped it on the floor and it cracked.

I know it is bad to iron clothes because the fibers get compressed over time from the iron, but sometimes the steamer just doesn't get out certain wrinkles.

Which iron should I get?

I am actually delighted you asked this question. I know most people find ironing distasteful, but I enjoy it. I am very selective about irons, have tried several and my vote is for Black & Decker (any iron in their Digital Advantage line.) Just so you know, Consumer Reports has listed this line as their first choice. Set up your ironing board in front of the tv, put on a good movie or music you enjoy, and I'm telling you, it is soothing as all get out.

Are you inferring I am Wet Spam???????????

Iron hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I take Holland and Barrett Iron once a day, every day.

It's an old wives tale that Guinness gives you iron...you should supplement your diet with a iron tablet.

The Panasonic if you can find one in the USA.

All stainless plate, never rusts or flakes. Big water tank.

Total weight 2 kg. Which makes ironing effortless.

Had mine for 2 1/2 years now, still like brand new. Used 3 times a week.
