Built to last forever with a timeless, virtually unchanged design.
There is a Sub for everyone and yesterday's release added to that list. Take your pick from any generation. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |

If, by "old", you are referring to the watch on the left...which, I agree, is far from perfect, I think the OP is referring to an "older" Submariner Date...the pre-ceramic model, which was replaced by that watch on the left.
The new Submariner, the watch on the right, to my eye, is a vast improvement over the watch on the left, visually. Its new movement, perhaps, may also be a technical improvement on all preceding Submariners. In any event, the new Submariner is certainly a worthy iteration of this iconic line of wristwatches, notwithstanding my admiration for those pre-ceramic Submariner beauties--truly timeless timepieces. |

I guess everybody has their own taste but doesn't mean they have good taste... The shoulder pads from the 80s should've never existed on this sub... Rolex wouldve never slimmed down the lugs if they knew it was a mistake... Sorry

The same applies to insulting someone’s taste in watches I’m afraid

Someone had a really bad experience with shoulder pads in the 80s, all I got out of this thread.
