So who picked up a new release on launch day?
Just curious if anyone has been able to pick up (or view) any of the new releases at an AD today? There was speculation that there would be stock available in the store on launch day (e.g. similar to the Tudor BB58 Navy release). Anyone have thoughts on their new pick-up or seeing them in the metal? I was fortunate enough to see the BB58 Navy on launch and got one a few days later.

I don't think the new releases are available at ADs now, at least it would take another 2-4 weeks.

Hodinkee still has availability listed as “at Rolex authorized dealers beginning September 2, 2020.”
Obviously that would be speedy and contrary to the word of many ADs but also curious that it would stay on their site for 24 hours were in not true in at least some places. |

Someone in Spain just posted they got the Green Sub. Apparently, Rolex got ahead of this and they are available in some places.

Only grays are allowed to get them first. Then set the market price for what people are willing to overpay. Isn’t that how it works these days ?
