RSC NY said they’d polish for 300. Not sure if I should go for it or just wait for a service.

I reached out to another reputable company and they said it would take more than a lug polish. Would be a full case plus welding. Was on the more expensive side but will come out minty fresh

They could have, at minimum, offered sell you a new sub in the safe. What losers.

I would do whatever it takes to end up with a minty fresh case. Over time the money spent will be overshadowed by your satisfaction...

that is amazingly minor, sure it would annoy me but I am surprised you haven't done worse just wearing it.

I have had Rolex warranty service do worse with one of mine so even they aren't perfect, but as others have said find a good watchmaker

I just think there are too many Rolex AD's and thus they have to hire staff that have no experience in watches either as an enthusiast or even passing interest.

That's why I like to patronise other brands who give better service and actually have professional watchmaker and not some junior sales guy to change a strap for you.

That's an inexperienced AD, he should have known that he doesn't have a rubber strap that will match it even before going ahead to scratch. for n
