Tough choice! The Aquanaut probably, like that model and it has a date.

What mm is the aquanaut? I have an 8.5 inch wrist so would go for whatever wears bigger

I just don’t get the Aquanaut. I know it’s a Patek, it’s iconic and it’s detail and finishing are on another level. But the look of it isn’t for me.

That particular Daytona is the best one in the line-up as far as I’m concerned.

Daytona, and not just because it’s a Rolex forum. I like Patek but the aquana doesn’t do it for me. That Daytona, though, is the best looking of all the Daytona models IMO.

I changed my mind.. Daytona among those two. But if Aquanaut was in RG I’d go with that.

Daytona looks nicer objectively speaking. Aquanaut becomes much nicer with the complications and i would pick a 5164a over any Oysterflex based Rolex

The Daytona in a heartbeat.

I like the newly released Aquanaut with the orange accents, but that's a different watch altogether.

Daytona. If going Patek as my one-and-only daily watch, the Aquanaut wouldn't be it.

As a daily, the Aquanaut is going to be more comfortable because it is very light and thin with a date function. However, the Daytona, with its ceramic bezel, will be more scratch resistant to everyday wear and tear. Both beautiful watches so it's really up to you.

I would choose Aquanut because it has date.

The Daytona. For me it is an easy choice.

I am actually in the process of trying to decide which one to pick, I have been offered brand new Aquanaut or brand new 116519 LN, tough decision.

I have actually owned the Aquanaut before and loved it, never had a Daytona though so maybe it is time for one.

Patek — date is more useful.

Works better with a attires, probably the only rubber strapped watch you should wear with a suit.

The ceramic bezel makes the Daytona sportier.
