While everybody fighting over fat lugs vs New lugs. This sub is still the best...

While everybody is fighting over the fat subs vs new subs, well Pre ceramic subs are the best overall ever made... A true classic with beautiful elegant chamfers...

The dial is too flat in the flesh and lacks depth. The inky squid lacquer of the 6 digit subs prevented this problem, in addition to the maxi dial proportions. But, if they could do a modern incarnate of the two line, then that would be special.

The clasp, bracelet, and bezel of the ceramics are superior in my opinion.

The brand new one is the best Sub ever released IMO. It's close to perfection. Not sure I could think of one thing to change on it.

All of the Subs are cool, it is a matter of personal preference.

Who you trying to convince? No model needs any validation or its “better” than another. It’s all personal preference like ice cream.

I think now when you look at the entire range, 4 digit, 5 digit, 6 digit and now this model, they all have their own DNA with slightly different proportions, etc.

This is a good summary...whether planned or not, it is definitely convenient for enthusiast to be able to refer to these watches by reference generation and there to be distinct traits for each.

The 5 digit sub is still the champion of the world by KO. The new 2020 challengers lost the fight once more time IMO

Never liked the relatively small hour markers (with too much metal in appearance) on the 5 digit...the 50th was perfect, except only available in green

To each their own I suppose. I think all of them are great in their own way, and I’d like to have one of each. But if I could only have one, it would be a modern ceramic, quite possibly the one that was just introduced.

I love my five digit as well, however I think they just got a lot closing on the 124060 this year, I need to check one out. Don't get me wrong it would be an addition not a replacement of my 5 digit sub.
