Hands-on photos of the new rolexes

Saw these on a different forum, thought I’d share. Those OPs look good IMO.

36mm in image above

The difference between 41mm/36mm is much bigger than i expected. I am a small watch fan but I think for a fun summer watch go big!

DDinus......op thanks for the photos. Nothing here I want. Maybe, the white gold sub, but at $39,000, no way.

I’m a Rolex fan, but feeling a little underwhelmed. Missed opportunity.

Major fail with the double-baton markers at 3/6/9. Would look much better with the same hour-marker layout of the out-going 39 mm OP. LESS IS MORE, Rolex. Gawd. I can't believe they managed to mess it up!

All they needed to do is keep the 39 mm OP with the exact same form factor, add the EZ-link clasp, and update the movement. Voila. Easy.

By the way: Most of these color options just don't do it for me... they look tacky and cheap. At least the dark blue (which fortunately retains the sunburst effect), black, and MAYBE the silver-gilted versions could pass as decent.

Give Rolex a little credit, while some of you may not be the intended target and so don’t think much of the new releases, others are lining up to buy some of these. I’ve already heard from some people I know on the West Coast who are all over these new watches including some relatives. Rolex isn’t suddenly stupid, they know their markets...

What's new here? They all look pretty much the same. A few cm's of lugs chopped here and there ...right? Any new Daytona's?

God the potential on the new Kermit IF they just want with a darker shade of green instead of just using the same Hulk bezel color.

Unfortunately the harsh lighting makes them look like cheap watches

The bezel color on the WG Sub date looks like the same blue as the Blnr...?

The more I see them, the more I'm convinced that the new OP line was the star of the show yesterday.

A very very clever and bold release from Rolex. The live pictures I've seen look much better and they give some nice bright options for collections which usually just consist of nice, but very boring black dial professional models.
