I hope that people keep calling these Tiffany dials so the people complaining can continue to waste their time posting about how it’s ‘nOt A rEaL tIfFaNy DiAl’ over and over again without it having any effect on this OP being known as the Tiffany dial going forward. It’s kind of entertaining.

Hey, it's great you got your watch, but you have *nothing* until it's on your wrist. Maybe it's just me but these pre-incomings are annoying. If stated in the header, I'd avoid reading until the actual day.
Used to be 'incoming' meant some conversations, pictures and a little fun for the OP to enjoy some attention from the forum. All worthwhile events.
This 'pre' incoming stuff is useless for *eveyone* but the recipient.
Yeah, a pet peeve of mine and of course, just my opinion but really, does anyone like these 'early announcements?'

Congrats on the incoming, waiting for 36mm Pink for my wife. Not sure we will see before Xmas. AD updates are these colour dials in all OP variants are not coming in anywhere near as quick as the new subs.

+1. Thread is useless without pictures is what we use to say.

Lol I’m not that petty myself but I was genuinely confused. I’m not well versed with SS watches and I thought it was a real Tiffany and Co dial OP. Since this thread is a pre-incoming with no pictures, I had to read thru all the comments to figure out what watch the OP is talking about. I think calling “Tiffany Blue Dial” would clear it up more IMO. While I get the other products like Hulk, Pepsi, Etc, aren’t associated with Rolexes, Tiffany and Co dials are actual dials being sought after.

[Edit] OP, congrats to your wife. Don’t mean to take away from your incoming. Just having a pedantic conversation with all.

*specialized unless you are referring to the British English spelling, but specialized is more commonly accepted.

How is someone calling it Tiffany a sign of unintelligence? Also love the USA IQ dig. I guess high IQ doesn’t = class.

Thanks, good point.

Since I'm neither american nor british, I checked that word and decided for specialised with 's' and not with 'z'. I see that you understood it anyway.

The IQ values are (of course) average values and have not necessarily a direct correlation with any topic or nationality here.

Don't worry I'm not from Singapore or Hong Kong, but I have a certain PASSION for Tiffany & Co. and Rolex.

Stay well in the US (I assume)

Hello rd,
Yes, but honestly only technical things, nothing else, in fact I don't care about IQ values but find this world-wide comparison interesting

Of course people are more complex than arbitrary (usually biased) measurements. Not a fan.

Anyway I think it's pretty obvious there's crossed wires on the 'Tiffany' thing.

There's the literally 'Tiffany' dialed vintage watches and there are these new Tiifany-blue coloured dial watches.

I don't think you should begrudge people seeing these new OPs and immediately thinking 'Tiffany'.

Agree completely, well summarized, one can conclude:

There's the literally 'Tiffany & Co." dialed vintage watches and there are these new Tiifany-blue coloured dial watches.

That's exacly what I propose(d):
OP Tiffany-blue dial.

But let the OP experts call it what they want!!!

Tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany tiffany! Ya'll know that song by Eiffel 65, 'I'm Tiffany Blue' ?

Yo, listen up here's a story
About a little guy
That lives in a Tiffany blue world
And all day and all night
And everything he sees is just Tiffany blue
Like him inside and outside
Tiffany blue his watch
With a Tiffany blue little dial
And a Tiffany blue Corvette
And everything is Tiffany blue for him
And himself and everybody around
'Cause he ain't got nobody to listen

How many people did I piss off?

Isn’t IQ a test of logical reasoning? For instance, if a poster refers to his incoming “Tiffany” OP36, despite that not being an official model name, being able to quickly figure out exactly which watch he is referring to...

I proposed that before you and I wholeheartedly agree. Tiffany blue dial or Tiffany colored dial is def a much better description.

My IQ be too low. Like I said, I’m not really into SS watches, mostly PM watches. I had absolutely no idea OP meant Tiffany colored dial at first. Now I know.
