Your favourite 5711?

Out of three 5711 models available in recent times (I know the white is now discontinued) if you could have just one which would you chose and why?

Try to ignore the value difference between the three in your decision if possible please.

5711/1A-010 (steel blue dial)
5711/1A-011 (steel white dial)
5711/1R-001 (rose gold)

I have been debating this. I love all three but in the end if I had to pick one, it would be the white dial. It's just so lovely to look at, adore the way the black markers stand against the white background, it wears slightly larger than the others and ultimately it's just so usable (than the gold at least).

Both my sons also prefer the white dial. We looked at all three watches side by side and I was surprised by their decision. Maybe we are just an odd family?

Yep although I have a 5711R which I enjoy - my most worn favorite is white dial.:-)

while my first choice is a aquanaut 5167a steel, the first nautilus i’d pick would be the white dial. I do very much like the blue dial, but the white dial seems to be overlooked by the blue one. it would be that piece that i feel like you don’t see everyday. can’t go wrong with either. not a big fan of the rose gold one at all. seems to flashy for me.

Blue on top. Love the white as two. Then brown.

Among the options I went 5711/1A blue and have had no regrets.

The non-40th 5711/1P is the grail but out of reach. I'd love to add a 5711/1G though (blue or black dial) if they decide to make it and I'd also consider a possible 5711/1J.

I originally picked the white dial as I loved how crisp and clean the dial looked, but more recently picked up the blue dial and think it's truly unique and a different character altogether. I was hoping to get the rose gold but with the price increase have decided to hold off...looking forward to seeing the responses from others who have multiple and in which situations they wear one over another

Poll results going as I expected. So far 2:1 in favour of the blue over the white. The rose gold also beating the white which is more of a surprise. White is the runt of the litter.....This actually reflects the watch market overall with blue pieces being much more desirable. Is it just male colour preference?

I like/prefer blue watches as well. But in terms of 5711s, of the three, the white gets most of my wrist time. That dial is a total beauty.

Just look at the 5726 - nobody wanted that watch in the white dial (ok exaggeration) but they release it in blue and the waitlist goes into the stratosphere.

The white dial looks the best to me, but I’ve never seen the blue dial in the metal

I think if I only had one to choose it wouldn't be the white but if I looked at which one actually got the most wrist time right now then it would be the white by a long stretch. People chase after the blue and it is really amazing but I end up finding the white matches with a lot more when you have both to choose from.

White dial, preferably coupled with the 5712 and then, boom, that’s the best Nauti duo easily.

Thing is, if you want to own a watch with a white dial the 5711 is the best looking SS watch made with a white dial.

I guess market prices reflect popularity! I’m in the minority though, I like the white dial the most!
