AP in NYC

Hi guys!

Any AP collectors in NYC? Also, best watch stores in NYC that have AP/RM/PP in NYC? Ie. must see ADs?

Appreciate your time

The diamond district has everything to look at. Cellini jewelers has an awesome selection of Greuble Forsey to look at. Pristine jewelers on 47th has over 30 Richard milles in the window so plenty to see none to buy unless your paying 40% over retail!

Material Good. Don’t go to the diamond district. Especially over the holidays. But in general don’t by nice watches there. It’s a sleazy part of town. It’d be like sleeping with a supermodel in a Motel 6.

Material Good is the best place in town. Bar none.

Material good for AP and RM. Watches of Switzerland for PP and it’s only a couple blocks away from Material Good

Only place other than the boutique for AP in NY is Material Good (Wempe and Cellini no longer carry AP). But as with most places the selection will be very thin. They have a pre-owned section but pricing is aggressive. No other AD carries AP. Cellini carries RM but again, selection is weak. For PP its the new place in SoHo (WOS), Tiffany and Tourneau.

It’s pointless to visit ADs or boutiques. If you simply just want to see every piece imaginable head to the diamond district. SS 5711, 5980s, rm11-03s, everything you could want to see is there. Buying there could be sketchy but it’s fun to see the pieces that are rare by the dozen!

In retrospect, should have probably specified...I live in Geneva/Zurich and have a decent relationship with my AP AD. I mostly want to see the "rare" pieces just for enjoyment sake. I have no plan to make a purchase whilst abroad, as I can (fingers crossed), most likely acquire these pieces with my boutique as I progress my relationship with my boutique.
