Incoming - 126200 Datejust 36 2019

Just wanted to share my recent purchase of the new 2019 Datejust 36mm with the 3235 movement. This may be a slightly unpopular spec but still wanted to share some pictures of it with the Jubilee bracelet, domed bezel and blue sunburst dial.

Feel free to add your Datejust pictures too.

That looks fantastic. There’s something about the 36mm DJ shape that never quite translated to the 41. Proportionately perfect.

Thanks, it’s so easy to mistake it for a black dial in certain lighting

As much as I wanted to purchase the 41, it just didn’t sit right on my wrist and felt bit clunky in comparison.

Particularly the domed bezel, which was always too wide on the 41. I really think the new 36mm DJ is Rolex’s best watch.

You’re correct in a sense. If Rolex wanted an exactly proportional larger equivalent, it would be the OP39 with a date window. Same curved features and domed bezel.

The DJ41 is different to the DJ36 due to the bezel shape being different - it’s flat and wider, not domed and slimmer. Slimmer of course then the DJ2, but not proportionate to the DJ36 and it’s bezel.

Did anyone manage to get a discount from their AD on the new Datejust? I had to pay full retail price for the blue dial but was offered 5% on a white dial with roman numerals they had in stock.

The 36mm Datejuust is simply awesome! I have the 116200 and it is my absolute favorite. 36mm may seem small but it is perfect on my 6.5” wrist.
