Rolex noob

Noob here as far as owning a Rolex however I have always loved my watches from a very young age.

I am now in a position to get my first Rolex within the next month or so.

I have always liked the SS Daytona (white). Not sure if I've always liked it because it has a waiting list (5 year currently) & it is popular (majority of people would want it / have it) or if I like the look of it ( I like a date on my watch).

I have always liked the SS Sub Date & GMT2 SS also very similar to each other, both with dates & both popular.

My first Rolex that I went in store to see was a Datejust Roman numerals with fluted bezel & blue dial so now I'm liking the DJ2 blue, white gold fluted bezel.

I feel I have waited so long thinking, I will get a Rolex. Always wanted one. I like so many. Now I'm in the position to buy one, I can't make my mind up.

I'm on the Daytona waiting list but as mentIoned , I'm not sure if I like it for the watch or the fact it could hold its value & the "rareness".

So many choices......

I know it a personal choice but I'm looking for opinions of your top 3 models/ specs. Top 3 as in your in a Rolex shop no one looking, no security, no cases and you have time to only take 3. Which would be the top 3 in your order of favourite.*

* obviously this is not condoned and should never be attempted.

Welcome to TRF!

Have you consider getting a Daytona from any of our trusted sellers here on TRF and have it on your wrist by Friday?

Why not just ask what you're top 3 Rolexes would be without committing a criminal act. LOL

I only like 2 Rolexes. The older Subs and older DJs.

Yeah you have a point

Ok then. You own all the rolex's in the world and your house is on fire. Which 3 do you save.
