I’m bias in that I love the Sub and don’t favor the Daytona personally, but these 2 watches are so different, if you parted with your Smurf wouldn’t you leave a void in your collection? Is there any way you can swing owning both? I guess if your tired of your Smurf then go ahead and part with it, but will you hate yourself later on down the road?

Can't imagine ever getting rid of the Smurf (I just posted in another thread about my one month love affair). It's so amazingly perfect. Heavy as Fuck. The blue dial and bezel are the perfect shade of blue. The WG is under the radar and not blingy but you know you're wearing a substantial piece, so you can wear it casually or dress it up. I'd put it up against any other model out there.

Smurf. Simple, unique, and so very special special. Strong design.

The Daytona on an OF just looks like another variation of an over copied watch. Fussy.

Yeah your right. The problem I have with the Daytona, it looks similar to all other copies out there. But I do love that grey dial. I would miss the Smurf and as blue and tiring as it gets, I miss it off the wrist. Ill see if I can swing both but not sure on that one.

Would only trade for a WG Daytona on a WG Bracelet. The Smurf is such an epic piece. The Daytona is too but something about the masculine yet refined Submariner in WG w/ Blue is mesmerizing.

The silver grey is pretty/smart looking/fashionable. But it is a rubber strap vs solid gold bracelet.
Smurf Blue is not demure or trying to compromise - it is a bold blue. Stronger than a bluesy. And all the better for it.

Trade in Smurf for WG Daytona?

Daytona of course. It’s just iconic

Smurf? WTH. Forgetful. It looks like someone spray painted it. Lol.

Tough call.

I’d prob lean into the Daytona on rubber though. I have the RG ceramic, and I’ve worn that white gold one, it’s amazing. The rubber naysayers don’t understand
