Dear all, I have an A-Serial Polar 16570 which originally should have had a Swiss only dial. Im sourcing the proper dial atm and am wondering if I also need to change the hands. Is there a visible colour difference when the lume glows at night?

For Tritium you need to have matching lume of course because of the vanilla colour and no lume at night, but I couldn't see a difference on the white/greenish colour of Swiss only vs Swiss made lume.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Many A serial watches came with Tritium dials; this was a "transition" prefix.

If you are switching out to Luminova, until recently they are all the same color.

Swiss and Swiss Made Luminova dials are the same compound, with the latter coming from the then-new Nemoto Swiss factory, Tritec.

Mine is a A68 series so I think its well in the Swiss only "zone" ;)
