Plastic Calipers
Thought I would post a couple pictures of my plastic calipers.
I have a nice set of digital calipers that are far more accurate but I much prefer using this small plastic one. My digital calipers have metal blades and I am concerned I will scratch a watch case. Plus the size is so handy. Tool is easy to use-slide your thumb on tab to adjust caliper jaws. Even with the big watch trends I do not see the need to have a 200mm measurement span. Part number: General N-141 me |

You can wrap a small piece of tape around the digital calipers' metal blades, close them up and hit the "zero" button. All of the accuracy, none of the scratches

There are plastic digital calipers.
I have a few 150mm at work and at home. The 100mm models are AU$7.

Great picture, and it reminded me to take a similar picture. I had never measured this item before! Thank you.

Great little plastic calipers!!
Just ordered them on Amazon Prime. Cost a whopping $11, to be delivered in 2 days. Gotta love some of modern technology..... Thanks!

That'll work for my more delicate work.... like deciding if the springbars are 2mm or not... Thanks!
