15505 original finish?

Hi,
Recently bought a cheap 15505 which is a bit of a mess. The whole watch and bracelet has a polished finish and some of the gold plating has worn off the edges of the bracelet.
I believe the original finish for the watch head is polished bezel and sides and a brushed finish to the tops of the lugs, does that sound correct?
Wit the bracelet I'm thinking of getting that replated but should that then be brushed or polished or a combination, does anyone know?
