Fantastic!! I had a Golf R for a short time, and loved it. Had an interesting punt with my buddy's all-wheel drive car, and through tight mountain passes, the Golf had the advantage ;-)

The new car is so much improved over its predecessor! APR Stage 1? What are the numbers like? Btw, I noticed that your car doesn't have the matte aluminum side mirrors? Was it an option, or just not available in the US? Also no smoked R LEDs?

Some time back, I was with a friend testing the then latest V8 in the Prancing Horse stable.

Helmet just as a prop

Best car I've driven yet! I know its not all about speed- the new 650S and Huracan certainly feel faster. Heck, I've driven a tuned GTR that blows all supercars in a straight line... But there's just something different about the Speciale; more organic, more raw. More... memorable.

^ not true, brother.

Anyway, today I was piloting a tuned, very very quick Golf R. New intercooler, Milltek exhaust system, custom stage 2 map, 340PS. 0-100km/h in just 3.92 secs. Lag? What lag? Insane.

Until you get a Wraith? Come now, don't waste... you can pass me the S63 when you are done with it Great pick-up, and enjoy in good health!

As weird as it sounds, I've never driven a 45 or 63 AMG. Only the older C32 and CLS55 from many years back.

Wow nice brabus! How do you find the platform? Sat in it at the auto show but haven't had the chance to drive one. It was a bit tight for me, being 6'3" (190 cm).

Enjoy

I am 6'2 but i have to push the seat down for head room, let me be honest its not anywhere near spacious as the saloon my dad drives a 2014 s500 saloon got it when it was new before the s63 came out. The issue when i push down the seat it visibility over the hood and the side become an issue since dont want to curb the brabus rims, It does feel kinda small from the inside because of the sloping windows and low roof and the side mirrors are almost shoulders height so you look to your side instead of look down and left or right for the mirror. I drive a audi S8 2015 as a daily now and the s63 is more of a weekend car i needed a nice fast saloon car and the rs7 was my main choice, until i noticed audi sponsors where my dad works and paid base price for a full option S8 just excluding night vision. My previous car was a 2013 g63 that was the biggest pain in the ****ing ass for big and tall guys i could never get the seating position right i can't extend my legs my parents complained about entering the car it used so much fuel for a everyday car so i replaced it got the s63 and thought i was getting a rs7 or 991 gt3 but got the S8 instead. (sorry if the pics are flipped)

@matthayes3741 Great variety in your stable. The styling on the LTZ is underrated.

@Abdullasaif Gotta love the S63 coupe! That's my first time seeing the interior of the new S8 and that quilted stitching is awesome.

These are the rear seats, the leather trim is Valcona level 4 which according to Audi is their highest leather option. It also comes with some Audi exclusive badge on the sides of the doors.

This was my old G class I know people who have them put after market suspension and it drives and rides as good as the new Range Rover and it's very narrow on the inside, on the passenger seat if you put the seat all the way back I am 6'1 and I can't stretch my legs all the ways it's a soccer mom car in Dubai and in LA

So quiet in here lately... where are all the motoring heads?

Saw an Alfa 4C last weekend. It was the support car for a Lamborghini run... and in my opinion, completely stole the show. This was a Launch Edition, which meant it came with those crazy CF eyes.

Couldn't resist a wrist shot, sorry!

Akira Nakai-san of RAUH-Welt Begriff is in town for the 5th RWB build; first one in the heart of the city.
