i saw a thread with a picture of day date dials

but now i can't find it. i want to change the dial on my 1987 day date.
if anyone can send me a link to that page, it would be greatly
appreciated!

You can find many of them here.

For an '87, some may not be available during that year or for your model, so you would have to ask the RSC if the one you want was offered for your model/year.

thanks larry. rolex dallas told me the same thing. so... i'm looking
for the link that shows dials that were offered on 5 digit day dates.
i know it's out there somewhere.

Are all the ones in the recommended thread above still available?
I sent my 18238 in last year and was told basic colors available as well as diamonds. However because I had a stick dial they wouldn't swap a Roman one.

i'll find out what rolex dallas has in stock and what they're willing to
exchange for. i was told the "special" dials, i.e., stone dials, would
not be available to me unless my watch had one installed originally.

Not Roman? Haven’t heard that one, you would need to swap the hands as well for it to look accurate but your ref could be had with Roman from factory.
