EDIT: The blog post itself actually proves my theory wrong, stating "Interestingly, Rolex managing director Richard De Leyser said he was aware of the website."

It still amazes me that it can go on though.

The best part is at the end:

- OK - let's say that I do come into agreement with your boss and he does accepts
my replica money for his replica watches - which sounds like perfectly fair deal to me-
would you take that replica money as your wages?
- (upset voice) Are you serious??? I don't work for fake money!!
- no, no, no - it is not FAKE money, it is just REPLICA money mate...

In any case, as far as online activity is concerned, it looks to me that Rolex has more pressing matters than what a group of fans on a forum are up to. Also, my guess is that vocal forum members are not entirely representative of the Rolex-buying community, so even if we were all to be in agreement over a specific issue, say the leopard Daytona, it may still not be good advice for Rolex to take seriously.

I have heard the same thing. It appears the way US Rolex is run that it is the lawyers who are controlling the company.
Here is another question, have they made any change because of the information stated on this board?

I'm sure Rolex - like nearly every other company - conducts focus groups amongst varying levels of WIS, and less knowledgeable watch owners.

While they look at sites like this to ensure their brand is protected, I imagine they are looking for sleazy sales situations. Thankfully, there is little of the latter going on, thanks to our Mods and Owner.

Having said all this, you never know if the company takes back a nugget or two info which actually makes it into a product. So...don't stop believin'!!!

I was referring to Rolex USA. Not sure what they do in the rest of the world. Rolex USA is an entity all its own. They probably pay more attention to the items for sale than the forum banter.....

I promise they watch it. Change the name to "the only officially certified rolex forum" and see how long it takes before they tell you something.

Anybody know what country is home to the server? If TRF's server is outside the US, there is little that rolex USA can do about it...

Wow... Tony, what's up with that? You don't advertise yourself to be an AD, so what can they do about it?

Trf - rolex

TRF is a strong feedback tool to Rolex's products..

I guess the Swiss system depends on customers feedback on most of there products.. HILTI (The best Power Tools & Anchors manufacturer in the world) is a very good example.. As I am an old HILTI customer, I know they keep gathering feedbacks about there products.. And they design new products based on the customers needs..
