Does Rolex have a set schedule for price increases?

I am looking to but a new DJ II in the next few months and am wondering if Rolex has a set month when they increase prices. If so, when is it?

Thanks for your replies.

Hi, there isn't a set month but everyone is under the impression that there is a increase nearly upon us!

If they do, we'll never know as they don't release info like that. I would love to know production numbers but they'll never release those either.

if you get your datejust II in a few months there will almost certainly be an increase by then my guess is somewhere in the ball park of 900 bucks on the SS datejust II

according to a fellow rolex forum member, as well confirmed by a prominent global investment analyst i know, rolex prices have leaped due to economy in europe. A lot of people have converted there money to swiss francs, which as the value of swiss francs rises, so doth thou rolexes.

I would keep a close eye on it. If possible you can usually put it on layway prior to a price increase and gurantee the lower purchase price.

The Swiss Franc continues to go higher against the dollar and the euro, so I would guess more price increases on the way. The Swiss govt is worried about exports and tourism, both of which are taking a hit, so they are thinking of tying the franc to the euro to try and keep it from continuing to rise. Who knows how much Rolex will increase the US MRSP next rise.

There is no schedule. Rolex raises prices when they want to. Every time there is a price increase a lot of TRF'ers complain and numerous posts are posted. A lot of peaple say the new Rolex prices have put Rolexes out of their reach. Yet, Rolex continues sell watches.

We all love Rolexes - no matter what the cost.

Nope... There already had been one earlier this year but I am betting on another one September/October of this year IMO anyway. This is NOT inside information as many claim but just my guess. I would buy sooner than later

Market forces that dictate a price increase dont seem to affect Rolex. And when you expect the least, Rolex increases the prices - for no apparant reasons.

If the price of gold keeps rising as it is now and stays there for a while I got to believe it will drive an increase in models with gold content at a minimum.
