My Sub 14060

On these boards I have seen references to both the 14060 and 14060M.

Purchased my Submariner 14060 in March from my local AD. New, leftover stock.

My documentation, warranty card, etc. gives no indication. The warranty card reads Style # 14060; Serial # G66...

Is there a difference between a 14060 and a 14060M? And how can I tell which one I have?

Per Padi from a prior thread -

There is no difference between the 14060 and the 14060M except for the slightly modded movement.The 14060M now has a full balance bridge and slightly larger balance wheel,basically its a Cal 3135 without the date complication.

Here's a photo. From the prior post, as this is a ND, can I presume mine is a 14060 M ?

Jack, as far as I know both yours and my G serial were the latest (end of the run actually) and have the updated M designation. I don't have my paperwork handy but ill check it once I get a chance.
Edit google search shows the M as in modified movement was being used from 1999 until the end of the run.

Below is a post from our own Padi56 from January of 2010...

Thanks. I figured mine was one of the last pre-ceramic models. This AD does a good business, I was lucky he had one left over so long after the new C models came out. And I never imagined such strong feelings over the Date vs non Date or ceramic vs non ceramic versions of the Sub !

Yes, I had to call around a bit last summer to find mine, so glad that I did. This one is never going anywhere!

My 14060 bought new march 2011 warranty card just has 14060 no M . It is a G serial num.

It will be between the lugs all 14060 watches from 2001 on with the cal 3130 will be 14060M whether COSC tested or not M stands for modified movement nothing more.
