Thanks. The whole thing started with me looking at 1601s in the FS forum here. Then i decided I wanted a quick set date since I rotate through my watches. Then, sapphire crystal, then we're already modern enough, let's get a luminova dial instead of dead tritium. Oh, but the Super Jubilee really is an improvement.

That's how I ended up with a green seal 116234.....

My 16014 on a 7.25-7.5 in wrist. The lugs are little thinner on this version vs the modern but fits just fine IMO.

Thank you Craig. I think the pt dd36 does seem larger when I compare it next to my 38.5mm Langematik Perpetual. Maybe I shouldn't be pining for the pt dd40 afterall

Your diamond dialed pt dd36 is gorgeous. Very classy.

I also picked up an NOS tt T-o-G last month but in the silver dial. I much prefer your black dial though. Love the contrast.

Great idea for a thread; currently I wear three... I must admit to having a longing for something smaller, an AK.

Picture of my old TOG which my father is now enjoying. Think my wrist is too fat for the 36 mm .

Ken, maybe you can put the money you save towards a ceramic Daytona to go with the Platinum one, or part of the way to a Gold Pepsi or the so called new root beer. Your 36 looks perfect and yes it does wear larger than 36mm and is relatively thick as well.
