5513 Maxi Help Please
Yesterday I came across a Mark 2 Maxi Dial, but for some reason the lumes look just like the Mark 1 ones (seems to look larger, and I was told Mark 1 has the largest lumes, can someone please verify?) and for some reason most of the lumes are “Lollipop” (around 8 of the hour marks are connected to the lumes) . I am just wondering why is that? And do these make the watch more / less desirable and how would it impact the (resale) value? If I had to choose (assuming conditions are he same), should I still go for a Mark 1 (which was what I wanted due to the large lumes), or should I go with this Mark 2 with features of both the 1 and the 3 (the lumes are equally big and have the lollipop feature)? Thanks so much!

I’d go with a MK1 as it’s the original Maxi 5513...The size of the lume plots are negligible,Finding a nice example is much more difficult.

On average Mark 1 and Mark 3 have the larger plots, however, over 20 years of collecting, I have seen a few Mark 2 and Mark 4 that were comparable in size. I wouldn't worry about plot size.
