Would you say you spend all your money on watches?
Naturally I'm not talking about essential funds, but rather leisure funds, extra cash, etc.
I have no money until next week because I bought my Panerai! The crazy thing is, I would do it again...and think I might! |

To slightly modify a well-known phrase; I spend all my money on women, cars, booze, guns, stereo equipment and watches...the rest I just waste.

Well, I'm just crazy. I was divorced legally about 6 months ago, and I'm already talking marriage with my GF. That will cost me a few watches. I can't believe this.....

Slow down Mik. Don't take marriage so lightly. It's something you only do two- maybe three times in your life.

Most all spare money goes to Dr's and drugs with my wife's diabetes and all the other stuff wrong with her we spent 350/400 a month on drugs with insurance.
My drugs only come to about 20 a month .... She was never sick a day in her life till she hit 50 and then everything went wrong with her. I started at early at 45 with stuff going wrong. |

It beats investing in the stock market.
At least you have something to show for your money. we are getting killed lately in our economy, my rolexes are the only things that I can count on to beat inflation, have value and have some utility. d |

Until last month for 14 yrs I own a 1994 Mustang Cobra, including the cost of the car itself I have spent about $60K+ on performance aftermarket parts.
Merely $15K was recovered. I strongly believed if the same $60K was spend on fine watches, making a small profit isn't out of the question. |
