Yeti Hopper vs Rolex/mechanical watches

Just got a new Hopper M30 as a replacement and it looks like the new coolers have a fairly strong magnet to keep them closed. Anyone run into issues with their watches running fast because of this? Seldom take my SubC off and hate to think that now I have a reason to. Maybe I’ll use one if my Seikos as a test dummy first but figured I would ask since the search did not bring anything up. TIA!

Magnets need to be in fairly close, continuous, contact to a watch to affect the few ferrous parts inside.

It's pretty unlikely that you would see any issues with your Rolex.

Good to know. I wouldn’t normally worry but who knows how easy it is to get it correctes with COVID and all. Thanks for the feedback.
