New here from Down Under !

Hello Everyone.

Long time browser first time poster!

Have been into watches and horology since receiving a black Seiko SKX007 on a jubilee in my early teens. A watch that will remain in my collection as my beater, and sentiment + reminder of where this all started !

Currently my collection stands at the following:

Seiko SKX007 'Black'
Rolex Explorer 1 - Ref: 214270 (picked up grey market in 2018)
Tudor Black Bay 58 - Ref: 79030N (picked up grey market in 2019)

Last Christmas I was given a 10 slot watch box, so naturally now the desire has grown to keep building out the collection in an attempt to fill that box + have one additional piece (being 10 x in the box + 1 on the wrist). Definitely not in any rush though and plan to fill it over several years to come by commemorating life milestones through acquisition of new pieces.

Naturally, I am desiring more sports Rolex (like we all are I'm sure), in addition to a couple of non-Rolex collectibles.

Currently I have no established AD relationship, however reading these forums there seems to be mixed reviews with regards to experience, 'waiting lists' (personally I'm more inclined to believe they don't actually exist), and overall getting access to the hot models in general. Being in Australia, I'm also inclined to believe that our ADs don't actually receive that much of the little stock that gets distributed world wide anyway.

I'm in a position right now where I want, and am able, to purchase two pieces:

Omega Speedmaster 'First Omega in Space' ... + one of the following SS Rolex models (in order of preference)...

Rolex Submariner Date 'Hulk' - Ref: 116610LV
Rolex GMT Master II 'Pepsi on Jubilee' - Ref: 126710BLRO
Rolex Milgauss 'Z-Blue' - Ref: 116400GV

Does anyone know of, and have had good experience, with a grey dealer in Asia-Pacific whom could potentially have all of these pieces in stock? Forum research suggests Hong Kong could be a good place to look...?

I know that market premium on SS Rolex is inevitable if you want the piece quickly, but I'm sure the Speedy could be acquired for a decent discount from the right place.

Thanks everyone, and look forward to sharing experiences.

Welcome.

Speedy Pros can always be had for a discount, Rolex, not so much.
