To be honest, the only thing amiss with the CHNR (to me at least) is the dial color could have been a beautiful rich brown/bronze metallic.

I think Rolex did the black dial to give all the GMT family a common denominator. The solid rose gold one could have a brown face to make it different from its SS siblings.

The bezel is everrose. If I am right they use some copper to make it red. lol is not even full gold.
