Is it about time ?
So I bought a 1991 serial explorer II. There is no service history . Before I send it out I was going to check how it was keeping time for a couple weeks . Now other then that what else should I look for ? Thanks oh and a service center that won’t cost u a ton . Thanks

I would advise having it serviced since you have no idea of its history. Rikki at Timecare in Seminole Fl. will do a great job and is very reasonably priced. He has many satisfied customers on TRF.

Well I had it tested and it’s going to get serviced . It’s -7 sec a day and didn’t pass a pressure test .

Not surprised about the pressure test. On the other hand it's quite amazing that a watch which hasn't been serviced for 27 years runs at "only" -+7secs.
