I stated in an earlier post that the gilts are one of my favorite GMT's. Here is a photo of my 1964 gilt..y. (Thanks Norm, I'm liking that word gilt..y and hope you don't mind me borrowing it.)

John that's great looking. Have you been hiding it; haven't seen that one before.

Is this the one you recently found to replace the favorite of yours that was stolen?

No, the gilt...y has been around since last year. I picked-up a 1968 GMT while at the show in Vegas in May.

I got it locally last year. I just haven't got around to taking any photos of it before now. I believe I sent you some text messaging pics of it when I brought it home.

Same here. Thought I was done with Rolex altogether, to stay with Tudor. But no!

16700. I have a couple and they are great everyday watches. Pepsi is a 1995 and the black is a really, really late 1999.

Within my budget:
The 1675. Because I love the plexi glass, the matte dial, and the "no rings" lume. Also the Mk1 has a tendency to turn to a tropical dial, so I nothing to hate about it. I also like that it has lug holes, making changing straps/bracelets a breeze. Outside my budget: Any GMT series with a gilt dial. Because it's gilt. It looks awesome. It's just awesome.

I see by the bracelets they are not identical twins and the one the left appears to be the older one by one second.
Nice pair, and I'm sure you love them both equally.
