Longines was originally found in 1832 by August Agassiz. By 1880, Longines started to create all their movements in-house. Famous for their movements such as the Calibre 20H, 13ZN and 30CH, older Longines house their claim to fame - their movements. After being acquired in 1971 by what is now known as the Swatch Group, Longines started using ETA movements. Vintage Longines tend to be more sought after than their modern counterparts due to their timeless looks and the movement that is housed within. This particular timepiece houses one of their more famous time-only movements, the Caliber 27m and was originally invoiced to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time a retailer of Longines in Italy and has a comfortable case size of 35mm. I am based in Singapore, I have some references which I am happy to share privately. I have references on Reddit / TRF / WUS as well. I am also a trusted dealer on Mondani Web. Please let me know if you have any questions through the PM system or via my Instagram @dtimepieces or through my website d-timepieces.com Thank you for viewing!
