It works if your dressed accordingly. Red shorts and a white shirt comes to mind. That said, on its own it comes off as ....not so much.

I can get behind a rubber strap on Rolex dive watches. NAOTs, not so much. My preference for Rolex watches has always been bracelets but a good quality rubber strap can definitely work for me on certain models.

Love the Everest rubber strap! I have a blue, and I'm waiting for the grey one that will incorporate the glidelock clasp. I'm just not a fan of red. If you like it then that's all the matters.

The 6 digit Rolex diver bracelets are probably the best on the whole market but each to their own.

It’s better than, “which watch will hold it’s value more”, or “Is this Rolex a good investment”, or “should I get a ceramic coating on my Rolex to protect it from getting scratched?”

Enjoy your watch. That’s the reason you bought it. Ignore the haters

As someone who loves rubber straps, I'll echo the forum and say this one doesn't really work.

I don't think red works in general with the black, but that shade of red is especially problematic. It's too "candy" colored and thus looks odd with the seriousness and tool-like quality of the sub.
