5035 fans rejoice!

A very good show at auction today at Sotheby's with a white gold 5035G italian dial sold for $32k USD including Buyer's Premium.

I'm glad to see this reference finally getting some decent upswing in value given it's historical significance. Maybe the market has finally accepted it as vintage and somewhat desirable at this point?

It looks like it sold for around $40,700. (Specifically 25,000 GBP, plus 25% buyer's premium, converted to USD)

No, the 25,000 GBP was including buyers premium, winning bid was 20,000 GBP + 25% buyers premium at Sotheby's. Regardless, one of the highest selling prices for a 5035 in recent years.

Oh, that’s good to know. I was not aware of that

Absolutely! One that I feel eventually will pick up in popularity as the world’s first annual calendar.
