Rolex Datejust [Real or Fake]

Hi, so I've seen this watch and just wanted to know if it's all good. There doesn't seem to be anything jumping out to me that makes me think it's a fake, jut wanted a second opinion from someone on here. Thanks guys!

Movement looks like a cheap China clone and case stamped 18k but looks like stainless to me. I'm sure others more astute will chime in. Just my impression

Oh damn, wow that 18k. Good spot man, didn't even see that. I think it's meant to be stainless so yeah I'm guessing it's fake. Thanks for the help man.

The case is marked 18K, which should refer to 18K white gold. The bracelet is marked Steelnox, which refers to a steel band. Roles doesn't put a 18K solid gold cases with all steel bands. I also don't think Rolex uses all gold movements ???

Also I've seen this movement before and even had the pleasure of doing "surgery" on one. The Rolex on the rotor is a cheap price of brass and is glued on top of the rotor. The one I operated on revealed a bulova stamping. So I guess it's a dual fake.

Also, shouldn't that backplate say 16200 not 12600?...
Movement isn't even trying to be a Rolex movement, it has 2824 stamped on it!

Fake, but quite a scary one. Without that 18K stupidity, it would fool people.

Have you got pics of the serial numbers between lugs?

Every technical detail is off, but they made a lot more effort on this watch than most others... still a fake though!

High quality fake, first look at dial I thought OK, other points listed above clarify the misses including the movement, Rolex movements are not sexy but different to this.

The 18k stamped in the SS case is sign #1. There was recently a thread here with the same situation of being a SS watch with 18k stamped in it.

Then the movement. Very common one used in the "replica" watches. I don't even know why they put the Rolex stamp on them. That looks nothing like a Rolex movement.

That said, it is a very good movement and they keep good time. That is a good fake for sure. If it wasn't stamped "18k" and if the case back never came off it would fool a lot of people.

You are correct as to the movement keeping good time. It really does. But as stated when you see it ones knows instantly it is not a Rolex moment. The dial in my opinion looks fishy but some with little or no experience who think it's real. But the flaw in this movement is that the crown will strip and one would be unable to wind the watch. Also I agree as to posting who is offering this watch for sale. If it is a website etc please let others know.

The eta (Swiss) 2824-2 is an excellent timekeeper and many even have COSC ratings. The Asian 2824-2 is no less remarkable in accuracy either. I have one is a diving watch and it runs +/- 2 sec per day in all positions.

I seen this on a UK based website called Gumtree, it's similar to Craiglist. When I seen it the front of the watch looked really quite convincing. Like others said, with it on a wrist it would look real. After the first comment I went back and looked at the image and yeah there is alot of things off with this watch.
