Does it make sense to add a DJ41 to my collection?

I have a 36 mm Explorer and a ceramic GMT Master II, but I do like the look of the DJ41. The beefy piece of 904L stainless steel used for the DJ41 case gives the watch a fantastic look and appeal in my opinion.

Thoughts?

since you dont have a dj yet I dont see why not? Do you like the size? some dont like the new 41 and prefer the 36. I recommend trying the watch on see how it feels!

Also, the dj w/jubilee, fluted bezel, is great for dressing up with as well. Not sure if you need something that is purely a dress watch, but the datejust is certainly versatile for that purpose, as well as your classic 36mm explorer on a strap.

Which one are you eyeing? Once you get it you might not wear your Exp too much.

I was thinking the exact same thing. My Explorer is really my go-to watch; I wear it hiking, biking, mowing the lawn, and cooking. I guess I could just keep all three watches if I buy the DJ41.

I forgot to mention the deal I'm going to get on this silver dial DJ41 - 23 percent off MSRP. Is that good?

Every collection needs a DJ, whether it be a 36 a II or a 41.

And being a GMT and Explorer owner same as yourself, you’ll find them getting little wrist time once the DJ comes into the fold.

Right now my DJ2 is my favourite piece by far.

I been looking at the DJ41 and like it a lot. If my AD would give me 23% off a SS, fluted bezel, blue dial I would jump on it.

Yes, it makes sense. I'm going through the same thought process, now that my wife is wearing my DJ36
