Still driving the Bimmer...

I also have my father's old pickup truck, and I have to admit, I do feel weird wearing a Rolex while driving it. :)

A Chevy Tahoe and a 5-series BMW along with 2 Submariners and a Breitling Emergency. That seems just about right.

Somebody knows their cars! Now, which year did the ZR1 and basic 300 hp car have the same wheels. Hint, the center hub was ruby red.

I ordered and bought it new at a Chevy dealer in GA. I had to go to 23 dealerships before I found one willing to get one for me. It's black over graphite leather with every option available EXCEPT auto trans, traction control and bodyside moldings. It's my pride and joy. I've kept it exactly as new for nearly 13 years now.

I have a 2002 Land Rover Freelander I use for work, but my fun car, which doesn't go out much due to gas prices is a 97 BMW M3 that has had some work done, it is supercharged by Dinan.

Oh I have a 1985 Mercedes 190e too, love the vintage Benz

I drive a white with tan 2008 Toyota Avalon Limited with a navigator system and laser cruise...

Would go much better with a white dialed SS Daytona... We can all have dreams, cant we??

those cars are very hard to find (back then and now both) i know it is allot of fun. i am sure you are already very aware of the twin cat setup and the brakes on that car. be very careful where you park it because i am sure you know we are not the only ones that know what that car is. if you ever want to sell it send me a pm and we will talk, i am in oklahoma. i also do the 10,000 mile and no rain thing. lol

Thanks Marcus! I really love the car. There were 310 made in 1995, but I bet at least 305 of them had an automatic and no leather power seats! I even got the engine block heater (1 of 18)!

Fuel miser turbo diesel...

Highly modified, 165HP @ 300 ft/lbs tq and 48 MPG... I can go +700 miles on a tank of fuel. Now if diesel just didn't cost so much...

Does it match my Rolex? Who cares... two seperate issues. Well, maybe not With the money I don't spend on fuel, I can better afford my watches...

Own a Porsche Boxster 987S, and recently bought the SS GMT IIc.

I like a bit of weight from a watch on my wrist, but from a car, I want it to be light and nimble, so no SUVs (chelsea tractors as we call them in the UK) here!

For me it's all about the driving experience/handling and noise. If I could have got the same feeling from something cheaper like a Nissan 350Z, then I would have bought something like that and would probably be let out of more junctions!

I've never been a big fan of Vettes, as I get older, the lower to the ground you sit, the harder to get out of the car, but that is one gorgeous looking Vette you got there Dan!

Thanks!

I got my first Vette 5 years ago. Loved it. Made the mistake last fall of dropping by the dealer to test drive the new C6.

BIG MISTAKE! I left with a new one. Didn't take long to sell the old one, but I think I'm addicted . . . both to Vettes and my Rollies!
