Panerai 380

TRF friends,
Im looking into purchasing my first panerai and since i dont know too much of the brand i figure i start with the PAM 380. Any thoughts on this watch or should i get a PAM 631/632 instead? Let me know! Currently in my collection i have a Rolex Batman, Hulk, SS Blue Skydweller, SD43, and an AP Diver. Let me know if it fits the collections, thanks!

Of those 3 , I prefer the 631, I had it before

Depends on your budget , and why are u getting it. There are other favorites Panerais that I would be looking at, specially if this is your only Panerai. Pam 372 422, 424, come to mind. Another Radiomir that is in the same price range of the watches you presented is the Pam 292, sleek watch , one of my first Panerais

Good luck

If you are considering the 380, definitely also look at the 183.

As for 631/632, if you love it, go for it....Just know that it may be harder to flip than other PAMs, as the snap-on caseback, integrated bezel and lower WR aren't always appreciated among the so-called "Paneristi".

If you would consider a ceramic, the mentioned 292 is a GREAT choice (J serial or not), as is the 643.

Ultimately, the best advice is to go slowly and try on as many as you can.
