Watches that ‘pop’
Hi guys,
I don’t exactly know how to word my question. But I’m after a new watch, I want something which grabs attention and feels special. What I mean by this, I own a few pieces, two of my favourites, the Tudor BB and JLC reverse ultra thin, however, on the wrist they are easily overlooked and it gets far less compliments than say my BLNR. I would describe the BLNR as being a watch that ‘pops’ I’m wanting a 3watch collection. JLC reversal ultra thin, DaytonaC and .... I’m thinking of a day date in yellow gold, or a 15202. Any advice on the two or other watches which are statement pieces? Thanks. Sorry if my question isn’t too clear.

Watches that ‘pop’
The hulk pops very much as the green is very eye catching. Also Fp journe Cronometre bleu certainly pops with its fantastic blue dial. Finally you can’t go wrong with the 15202

5711 and 15202 in ss do not really pop and are under the radar types. In gold they are a different proposition entirely as are Rolex ones. In ss a LVc or Bluesy pop as the dials are vibrant and the bezels can shimmer.

You want a Rolex to POP - nothing beats the 116613LB Bluesy.
OR a Full YG DD40 Out of most Rollies you will probably get the most attention with that one. |

The Submariners LVc, Smurf and Bluesy are all great "pop" watches. I never fail to notice any of these in the TV world or real life. A lot of designer watches are yellow gold these days, so although a Rolex yellow gold can "pop", it has lots of competition and may not be as readily recognized. I think a strong dial will get the buzz you desire. Good luck. Cheers!

The YG DayDate pops across a large room. It’s iconic and beautiful.

LV, bluesy and AP ro all pop. My bluesy and LV pop from the dials and bezel shimmer, the royal oak bracelet pops with the mix of brushed and polished surfaces.

I'm going to check one out at the AD tomorrow but I would say the blue dial Milguass. The orange lightening bolt second hand pops really nice on the blue dial

Deepsea Sea Dweller LN. James Cameron Deepblue if you're nasty.
If the large diameter doesn't wow onlookers, the towering height will. Talk about a watch that would get noticed across a room. The first comment from non-Rolex enthusiasts is always, "I didn't know they made them that big." |

Hang a wall clock around your neck, with a gold chain, of course. I bet people will look.

Hulk and Bluesy “pop” from across the room. Outside and they explode in sunlight. Fluted bezels put on a amazing light show that “pops”.

116618LB I felt like King Midas when I tried it on
AP RO pops for sure! The bracelet is a disco ball. I would say the ROC in PM pops the most.

From my collection the one that really stands out, 116713LN.
Even more blingy than my DD. My WG Sub has no pop factor
