modern panerai is like a toxic relationship
i have never been in an abusive relationship but having a modern panerai made me realize what a toxic relationship feel like.
it's like you keep giving, they keep taking but you don't get anything in return. just because they're pretty doesn't mean you deserve to be treated like sh*t but then you're still there and can't leave them alone. well, i think venting out on the forum is a sort of therapy but i got to thinking why am i doing this to myself? |

I totally agree, particularly when this is their latest marketing! I believe they are suggesting that the Panerai Zebra (they’re actually giving it a nickname) has been around for 100 years
I’m glad my 3 Panerai come from an earlier time as they are jut fantastic watches.

I had no idea that the Nazi-Fascist divers of WW2 were actually "aquatic explorers" :D

Or speaker of unpopular truth (who just saved a vintage Rolex buyer $100k on a fake).

I have no problem with his views on Panerai, I don’t however think there is any need for world war 2 references on this forum.
If it is fair game however I will head somewhere else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There are some uncomfortable historical facts surrounding early Panerai which Jose mentioned and has received a red card warning. If you were in contact with Jose before his warning please pm me.

They weren’t “facts”. They were his statements based on “collectors who he can’t name” and “random images he interprets and swears he hasn’t modified”. Up to you if you want to believe a blogger with an axe to grind and a need for attention. Based on his trolling posts like above, I choose not to believe him. YMMV.

i dont think this should be political/ww2 apart from all the lessons that should be learned from WW2
the point is that panerai has gone from being a great brand/watch down to being a fashion watch worse is that they are trying hard to push it as rolex level |

I love my Panerai watches, Pam 24 & Pam 183. Two great watches. In looking at their new Submersibles, I'm just not certain their quality control as first rate as Rolex.

That went off the rails quickly
Love them or hate them, Panerai offers a unique watch unlike anything else out there |
